Dollar Bin partnered with us on our Drum Heaven charity bundle, and we’re super grateful to have worked with him because he’s amazing. On this page, we’re going to share more information about Dollar Bin, his music, and his sample packs. If you’re looking for new music+samples that marry hip-hop and dance music into one tight package, I think this page will be pretty useful for you. Special thanks to Dollar Bin’s manager Logan.
P.S. If you’ve made music using samples from Drum Heaven—especially from Dollar Bin’s Drum Ensemble Vol.1—e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org so we can feature your music.
Rising Harlem-based DJ/producer Dollar Bin is best known for bridging hip-hop sounds with the punch of dance music. Fresh off the 2016 release of his debut EP The King of Styles, Dollar Bin is continuing to refine his speaker-rattling sound while sharing it with the world. Given that he’s from New York, it makes sense that he never sleeps: in addition to an array of international gigs, Dollar also releases collections of his signature drums called Dollar Bin Drum Ensemble. With nods of approval from Afropunk and top production schools like Dubspot and Scratch DJ Academy, and having collaborated with artists like Ryan Hemsworth, Tunji Ige, and Nadia Rose, Dollar Bin is poised for a big and bright musical future that knows no limits.
Dollar Bin’s favorite quote: “A candle loses nothing by lighting the flame of another.”
